Romania experienced a further rise in consumer price inflation in November, reaching its highest point in three months, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics on Wednesday.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) showed an annual increase of 5.1% in November, up from a 4.7% rise recorded in October.
Food prices saw a year-over-year growth of 5.11% compared to 4.75% in October, while prices for non-food items accelerated to a 4.15% increase. Service costs rose by 7.56%, slightly lower than the 7.66% noted in the previous month.
On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices increased by 0.4% in November.
