Heineken Holding N.V., the renowned Dutch brewing company, announced on Friday that Jean-Marc Huët has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, succeeding Maarten Das. The company plans to propose Huët's appointment as a non-executive Board member for a four-year term at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April 2025. After serving as Chair since 2002, Das is slated to retire from his non-executive Board role upon the conclusion of his current term at the AGM.
Additionally, Huët will step down from his positions as a member and Chair of the Supervisory Board of Heineken N.V. during the AGM in April 2025. Huët is currently the Chairman of the Board at Lonza Group and chairs the Supervisory Board of Vermaat Groep.
Furthermore, the Heineken Holding Board intends to suggest the reappointment of Alexander de Carvalho as a non-executive Board member for an additional four-year tenure at the forthcoming AGM.
On the stock market, shares of Heineken Holding were trading at 58.95 euros in Amsterdam, reflecting a decrease of 0.25 percent.
