CoreCivic, Inc., a prominent government-solutions firm, announced on Monday a significant leadership change within its executive ranks. The Board of Directors has named Patrick Swindle, the current Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, as the new President and Chief Operating Officer. His new role will take effect on January 1, 2025.
Damon Hininger, who presently holds the dual position of CEO and President, will continue to serve as CEO and remain a Board member.
Swindle's journey with CoreCivic began in 2007 when he joined as Managing Director of Treasury.
