NANO Nuclear Energy (NNE) has finalized a definitive agreement to acquire specific nuclear energy technology assets from Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation and some of its subsidiaries. This transaction, valued at $8.5 million in cash, follows an auction process linked to USNC's ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
The acquired assets encompass USNC's patented Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) system, including all related patents and intellectual property rights. Additionally, it includes the Pylon reactor technology, associated intellectual property, and certain demonstration project partnerships pertaining to the MMR system.
