Croatia's retail sector maintained its growth trajectory in November, according to data released by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics on Monday.
In terms of volume, retail sales rose by a working-day and seasonally adjusted 6.7% year-on-year in November, consistent with the growth rate observed in the previous month.
Breaking it down further, the turnover for food, beverages, and tobacco increased by 6.6% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, sales of non-food items, excluding automotive fuels and lubricants, saw an 8.8% rise.
On a monthly scale, retail sales exhibited a 0.8% increase in November, following a 0.6% uplift in October.
When looking at the unadjusted figures, retail sales experienced a 7.3% annual surge but saw a 6.4% decline on a monthly basis.
