European Economic News Preview: Eurozone Final Factory PMI Due

Anticipated economic updates on Wednesday include the final factory Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) results from the euro area and the UK.

Early in the morning at 2:00 AM ET, the UK will release Nationwide's house price data. Expectations are set for a 3.8 percent annual increase in house prices for December, slightly higher than the 3.7 percent rise seen in November.

Following that, at 3:15 AM ET, S&P Global will reveal Spain's factory PMI survey results. Projections suggest the index will advance to 53.6 in December, up from 53.1 recorded in the previous month.

At 3:45 AM ET, Italy's manufacturing PMI data is expected. Analysts predict a rise to 44.9 in December from 44.5 the month before.

Ten minutes later, at 3:50 AM ET, France's final factory PMI figures will be disclosed. The manufacturing PMI is anticipated to hold steady at 41.9 for December, aligning with earlier estimates.

At 3:55 AM ET, the final PMI data for Germany's factories will be available from S&P Global. Expectations are for a decrease to 42.5 in December, consistent with preliminary projections, down from 43.0 in November.

The European Central Bank is set to release the euro area's monetary aggregates for November at 4:00 AM ET. Growth in the M3 money supply is projected at 3.5 percent annually, following a 3.4 percent increase in October.

Finally, at 4:30 AM ET, the UK will publish its final manufacturing PMI survey results. Analysts predict a decline in the factory PMI to 47.3 in December, as preliminarily estimated, from 48.0 in November.
