Swisscom has announced the successful acquisition of Vodafone Italia, which is set to conclude in 2024. Consequently, up to 200 million euros in related costs will be reflected in Swisscom's 2024 financial statements. This development has prompted an update to Swisscom's EBITDA forecast for 2024.
The revised guidance now projects EBITDA in the range of 4.3 to 4.4 billion Swiss francs, a slight adjustment from the previous estimate of 4.5 to 4.6 billion Swiss francs. That said, the company affirmed that its forecasts for 2024 revenue, capital expenditure (CAPEX), and dividend distribution remain unchanged.
