Kaiser Aluminum Corp. (KALU) has announced that Jack Hockema, who serves as the Executive Chair of the Board of Directors and the Chair of the Executive Committee, has informed the Board of his intention to retire as a director of the company, with his retirement taking effect on January 1, 2025.
In response to this development, the company has designated Keith Harvey, the current President and Chief Executive Officer and existing Board member, to assume the role of Chairman of the Board. Additionally, Kimberly Glas has been appointed as a director to fill the vacancy left by Hockema's departure. Both of these appointments will also become effective on January 1, 2025.
Kimberly Glas is set to serve as a Class I director, with her term concluding at the company's 2025 annual meeting of stockholders. Furthermore, she will bring her expertise to the audit and sustainability committees of the Board.
