(MET) announced on Wednesday that its institutional asset management unit, MetLife Investment Management, will acquire three traditional fixed income and equity portfolio management teams from Mesirow. This acquisition is expected to transfer approximately $6 billion in assets under management to MetLife Investment Management, bolstering its leveraged finance platform. About 20 investment professionals from the acquired teams are anticipated to transition to MetLife Investment.
