Amylyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AMLX) has announced the launch of an underwritten public offering of its common stock shares. Additionally, the company plans to provide the underwriter with a 30-day option to purchase additional shares, accounting for up to 15% of the initially offered shares, based on the public offering price per share, minus underwriting discounts and commissions.
The company stated that the net proceeds from this offering, combined with its existing cash resources, including cash equivalents and marketable securities, will be allocated towards enhancing preparations for commercialization, supporting pipeline programs, bolstering working capital, and addressing general corporate needs.
