Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG), a leading global insurance brokerage, has announced its acquisition of Wealth Management Partners Pty Ltd (WMP), a financial planning firm based in Perth. WMP specializes in retirement plan risk management for both individual and corporate clients in Western Australia.
Though the financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, this acquisition marks a significant enhancement of Gallagher's presence in the Australian financial wellbeing consulting arena.
Following the acquisition, the WMP team, including key figures such as Steve Beattie, Troy Hartley, Janusz Mazurek, and Adrian Whitaker, will continue their operations from their existing premises. They will remain under the leadership of Graham Campbell, who heads Gallagher's employee benefits and HR consulting services in Australia.
On the New York Stock Exchange, AJG shares are trading at $285.57, reflecting a slight increase of 0.02 percent or $0.07.
