Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (KTOS) announced on Monday that it secured a contract for a hypersonic system program valued at approximately $100 million.
The company has initially received $15 million in funding at the time of the contract award, with expectations for substantial additional allocations in the latter part of its fiscal year 2025.
Under this contract, Kratos will be responsible for delivering engineering expertise, systems development, and hardware components. The work will be carried out at Kratos' secure fabrication, manufacturing, and system integration sites. Due to competitive and security-related reasons, further details about the program remain undisclosed.
