T-Mobile announced on Monday its agreement to acquire Vistar Media, a leader in technology solutions for digital-out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, which engages millions of consumers throughout their daily routines.
T-Mobile's acquisition will encompass all of Vistar's industry-leading assets, such as its advanced marketplace and technology solutions for the buying, selling, and management of media campaigns. This network spans over 1.1 million digital screens globally, supported by nearly 370 out-of-home (OOH) media owners, serving over 3,000 brand partners.
The acquisition deal is valued at approximately $600 million in cash, subject to customary closing adjustments. Completion of this transaction is anticipated in the first quarter of 2025, pending usual closing conditions and the necessary regulatory consents.
Upon finalization, the acquisition is expected to have a slightly positive impact on T-Mobile's EBITDA. Furthermore, T-Mobile maintains its expectation to return up to $14 billion as part of its 2025 Shareholder Return Program.
