This partnership, formalized through a memorandum of understanding, is focused on advancing Mitsubishi Electric’s capabilities in the data center and cloud services sectors.
The primary goal of this collaboration is to enhance data utilization solutions via Mitsubishi Electric's Serendie digital platform, contributing to a more sustainable society by lowering the carbon footprint associated with data centers.
Mitsubishi Electric states that exploring this strategic collaboration will expedite and broaden its initiatives by utilizing AWS's vast expertise in cloud computing and generative AI. This will allow Mitsubishi Electric to rapidly innovate in data utilization solutions while upgrading its internal IT infrastructure.
The company plans to develop AI platforms for integration with Serendie, implement AI to optimize business processes and organizational decision-making, and leverage AWS's educational programs to cultivate personnel skilled in digital transformation and innovative methodologies.
