Concurrently, the Bank of Korea will conclude its monetary policy meeting. It is expected to announce its interest rate decision, with most analysts predicting that the bank will maintain its benchmark lending rate at 3.00%. Meanwhile, Japan will disclose its December producer price index, with projections indicating a monthly increase of 0.4% and an annual increase of 3.8%. This represents an uptick from the 0.3% monthly and 3.7% annual increases reported in November.
