NextEra Energy: Long-term Financial Expectations Remain Unchanged

NextEra Energy (NEE) has provided its forecast for the coming years, anticipating adjusted earnings per share (EPS) for 2025 to be between $3.45 and $3.70. Looking ahead to 2026 and 2027, the company projects adjusted EPS to range from $3.63 to $4.00 and $3.85 to $4.32, respectively. Additionally, NextEra Energy plans to increase its dividends per share by approximately 10% annually through at least 2026, using 2024 as the base year.

John Ketchum, CEO, expressed optimism about the company's performance: "Given the robust nature of both of our business segments, we would find it disappointing if we fail to achieve financial outcomes at or near the upper limits of our adjusted EPS expectations each year through 2027. This goal aligns with maintaining our solid balance sheet and credit ratings."
