Hungary's unemployment rate experienced an uptick during the October-December timeframe, according to data released on Friday by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office.
The unemployment rate reduced to 4.4 percent for October-December, compared to 4.7 percent observed in September to November.
In the same period the previous year, the unemployment rate was also 4.4 percent.
The number of unemployed individuals fell to 216,300 over the October-December period, down from 230,800 recorded in the preceding three months.
Meanwhile, the employment rate held steady at 65.0 percent.
In December, the nation's unemployment rate declined to 4.3 percent from 4.5 percent in November, marking the first decrease in six months.
