The unemployment rate in Poland experienced a slight uptick in December, reaching its highest point in eight months, as reported by the statistical office on Monday. The rate climbed to 5.1% in December, up from 5.0% in November, which was anticipated by analysts. Interestingly, this figure matches the unemployment rate from the same month the previous year. The total count of registered unemployed individuals rose to 786,200 in December, compared to 774,500 in November. Conversely, the number of unemployed individuals under 24 years old saw a decrease, falling to 101,900 in December from 102,600 the preceding month.
