Compass Minerals International, Inc. (CMP) announced on Tuesday that its Chief Financial Officer, Jeff Cathey, will be stepping down from his role due to personal reasons. Peter Fjellman has been appointed as his successor, effective immediately. Prior to joining Compass Minerals, Fjellman was the Senior Vice President of Finance for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions at GXO Logistics (GXO).
Additionally, the company has appointed Patrick Merrin as Chief Operations Officer, with his tenure beginning on March 3. Before this, Merrin was the Executive Vice President of Technical Services at Lundin Mining Corporation (LUN.TO).
In pre-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange, Compass Minerals’ stock is currently priced at $12.89, marking an increase of 2.71 percent.
