In March 2025, Turkey's manufacturing sector operated at 74.4% of its production capacity, experiencing a slight decrease from the previous month's 74.5%. This figure represents the lowest capacity utilization since March 2023. There was a decline in capacity utilization for non-durable goods, which fell to 73.1% from 73.5% in February, and intermediate goods, which dropped to 74.8% from 75.3%. Conversely, there was an increase in production capacity for durable consumer goods, which rose to 72.1% from 70.5%, and investment goods, which went up to 72% from 71.6%. The capacity for consumer goods remained stable at 73%. It is noteworthy that in March 2024, the Turkish manufacturing industry operated at a higher 76.2% of its production capacity.
