In February 2025, retail sales in Sweden experienced a 2.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This represents a slight slowdown from a revised 3.1% growth observed in January and is the slowest growth rate recorded since November. The turnover for durable goods slowed to 4.3% from 5.1% in January, whereas the turnover for consumables accelerated to 1.6% from 1.1%. On a month-to-month basis, retail sales rose by 0.1%, recovering from a revised 0.6% decrease in January.
