In February 2025, Mexico's unemployment rate was recorded at 2.5%, mirroring the figure from February 2024 and marginally under the market prediction of 2.6%. The count of unemployed individuals increased by 30,000 year-over-year, reaching 1.5 million, whereas the number of those employed decreased by 236,000 to total 59.2 million. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the unemployment rate increased to 2.7%, up from 2.6% in the previous month.
