Producer prices in Jordan experienced a year-on-year decline of 0.17% in February 2025, marking a shift from the 0.23% increase observed in January. Manufacturing prices saw a more modest rise of 0.21%, down slightly from 0.23% in the previous month. In contrast, quarrying costs dropped significantly by 6.72%, compared to a 1.71% increase earlier. Conversely, electricity prices made a comeback, with a 0.2% rise following a dip of 1.08%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices fell by 0.15% in February, after a 0.18% increase in January. For the first two months of 2025, there was a slight overall increase in producer prices of 0.03% compared to the same period last year.
