FX.co ★ Swedish New Orders Growth Eases in February

In February 2025, Swedish industry witnessed a year-on-year increase of 2.5% in total orders, a significant slowdown from the revised 16.9% growth observed in January. This represents the slowest expansion in total demand over four periods. The growth in foreign orders moderated considerably to 6.0%, compared to the previous 30.4%, while domestic demand continued its downward trend, decreasing by 3.5% after a 2.0% decline earlier. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, new orders experienced a decline of 6.2%, following a 2.6% increase in the preceding month.
