In March 2025, Belarus witnessed its annual inflation rate climb to 5.9%, marking its highest level since October 2024, in contrast to February's figure of 5.6%. This uptick was largely driven by a more rapid ascent in service prices, which rose to 6.6% from 6.5%, and food prices, which jumped to 7.5% from 6.7%. Meanwhile, the cost of non-food items experienced a slight decrease from the previous month's 3.4% to 3.3%. On a month-to-month basis, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.8%, a drop from the 1.3% rise observed in February.
