In March 2025, Kazakhstan experienced an 8.5% year-on-year increase in industrial production, though this represents a deceleration from February's 9.4% rise. The manufacturing sector saw a reduction in its growth rate from 14.1% in February to 8.2%, while the decline in electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and air-conditioning supply eased slightly to -2.2% from -5.5%. Likewise, the decrease in water supply, waste collection, treatment, disposal, and pollution elimination activities moderated to -4.8% from -7.9% the previous month. Conversely, the mining and quarrying sector experienced a surge in output, increasing to 10.2% from 6.9% in February. On a month-to-month basis, industrial activity growth slowed to 6.8% in March 2025 compared to 10.5% in February.
