FX.co ★ Colombia Economic Activity Eases in February

Colombia's primary economic indicator saw a year-on-year increase of 1.77% in February 2025, down from a 2.65% rise in January. This deceleration was attributed to a downturn in the manufacturing sector, which slipped into contraction at -3.12% compared to a growth of 0.51% previously. The contraction in primary industries also intensified, moving from -0.13% in January to -0.96% in February. Meanwhile, the growth in the services sector moderated slightly, coming in at 3.54%, down from 3.89% the month before. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the indicator saw a 0.25% monthly increase from January.
