Similarly, confidence in the financial health of households decreased from -2.4 to -4.0, and the attitude towards making significant purchases worsened from -27.3 to -28.2. Additionally, views on their past financial situation weakened, declining to -9.3 from -8.7. Expectations for unemployment remained nearly stable at 24.9, marginally down from 25.1, yet inflation expectations rose sharply, climbing to 39.1 from 31.5.
