In the first quarter of 2025, Turkey experienced a 5.6% increase in tourism revenues compared to the same period last year, reaching $9.45 billion. Out of this total income, individual expenditures amounted to $8.1 billion, while spending on package tours contributed $1.2 billion. The most significant portions of this expenditure were allocated to food and beverages (24.7%), international transport (15.9%), and package tours (13.1%). Relative to the first quarter of the previous year, there was a notable 20.8% rise in expenditure on package tours, a 15.7% increase in food and beverage spending, and an 8.9% growth in transport expenses.
