The Swiss investors’ sentiment index experienced a significant drop of 40.9 points from the previous month, reaching -51.6 in April 2025. This marks its lowest level since November 2022. As reported by UBS, in partnership with the CFA Society Switzerland, this decline represents one of the largest declines in the index's history, highlighting increased economic concerns due to recent disruptions in trade policy. Additionally, the current conditions index also shifted into negative territory, decreasing from a positive 14.2 in March to -6.3.
