Colombia's industrial confidence indicator experienced an upswing, reaching 2.1 in March 2025, up from 0.2 in February, and representing the highest level since August 2023. This improvement was fueled by more optimistic production expectations for the upcoming quarter (27.6 compared to 26.7 in February) and a significant enhancement in new orders (-18.2 compared to -26.2 previously), along with a recovery in stock levels (3.2 compared to 0.0). In contrast, a year ago, the confidence indicator was at a much lower -2.6.
