North Macedonia Producer Inflation Ticks Up to 7.3%

In March 2025, North Macedonia saw its annual producer inflation rise to 7.3%, a slight increase from February's 7.1%. This represents the eleventh consecutive month of increasing producer prices, reaching a peak not seen since February 2023. The primary driver of this inflation was the rising costs of capital goods, which surged to 17.7% from the previous 16%. Conversely, the rate of price increase for intermediate goods and consumer goods decelerated, with intermediate goods experiencing a growth of 1.1% compared to February's 1.7%, and consumer goods slowing to 4.2% from 5%. Notably, non-durable goods saw a reduced inflation rate of 4.8%, down from 5.5%. On a monthly scale, producer prices increased by 0.5% in March, following a 0.6% hike in February.
