In March 2025, Turkey's industrial production increased by 2.5% compared to the same month last year. This improvement follows a 1.9% decrease in February, marking the strongest performance in three months. The recovery is evident in the manufacturing sector which grew by 2%, bouncing back from a 2.5% decline in February. Similarly, the mining and quarrying sector rose by 4.9%, reversing the previous month's 5.4% fall. However, the growth rate for electricity, gas, and air-conditioning supply decelerated to 6.1%, down from 8.5% in February. On a month-to-month basis, industrial production increased by 3.4% in March, after a 1.6% decrease in the preceding month.
