In April 2025, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the Netherlands dipped slightly to 3.8%, down from 3.9% in March. The number of unemployed individuals fell by 8,000 from the previous month, bringing the total to 387,000, while the employment figure rose by 8,000, reaching 9.824 million. The labor force participation rate experienced a slight increase to 76.1%, compared to 76% maintained over the past three months. Meanwhile, 184,000 people received unemployment benefits during this period. Notably, in April 2024, the unemployment rate stood slightly lower at 3.7%.
