This improvement in capacity utilization was observed across all sectors: intermediate goods rose to 75% from 74.5%, non-durable consumer goods increased to 73.3% from 72.7%, investment goods moved to 73.6% from 73.2%, consumer goods advanced to 73.1% from 72.6%, and durable consumer goods climbed to 72.3% from 71.9%. Comparatively, in May 2024, the manufacturing industry in Turkey was operating at 76.3% of its production capacity.
