In March 2025, Mexico experienced a 2.5% year-on-year increase in economic activity, marking a rebound from the previous month's 0.6% decline and reaching a nine-month peak. However, this figure fell slightly short of market forecasts, which anticipated a 3% rise. The sectors demonstrating the most significant growth included business support, waste management, and remediation services, which rose by 14.8%, agriculture with a 13.7% increase, and professional, scientific, and technical services, which climbed by 10.2%. Conversely, the most pronounced declines were observed in the mining sector, which dropped by 9.5%, and in temporary accommodation and food services, which fell by 3.6%. Adjusted for seasonal variations, economic activity saw a 0.4% decrease on a monthly basis.
