In May 2025, Argentina's consumer confidence index experienced a rise, reaching 45.5, up from 44.10 the preceding month. This marks the third highest level recorded this year; however, it still trails behind the 14-month peak of 47.38 set in January. Optimism increased across all three sub-indices compared to the previous month. Evaluations of personal financial situations improved to 46.49 from 45.81 in March. Intentions to purchase durable goods rose to 35.34 from 34.33, and the macroeconomic situation assessment slightly increased from 52.20 to 52.21. Compared to the previous year, the Consumer Confidence Index saw an 18.8% increase.
