Industrial production in Cyprus experienced a 1.9% year-on-year growth in March 2025, slowing down from a revised 4.6% increase witnessed in the prior month. This represents the second successive month of deceleration and marks the weakest expansion since the contraction recorded in November 2024. Growth in output slowed across all major sectors: mining and quarrying increased by 5.4% compared to 8.1% in February, manufacturing rose by 2.1% down from 3%, electricity supply showed a minimal rise of 0.7% following a substantial 14.2% in the previous month, and water supply and materials recovery edged up by 0.6% from a previous 3.3% increase.
