In May 2025, consumer confidence in Mexico experienced an upswing, reaching 46.7 points, up from the previous month's 45.5, marking the highest point since December 2024. This increase reflects a more optimistic outlook among households regarding both the present and future economic conditions. Specifically, the evaluation of Mexico’s current economy saw a rise of 0.7 points to 42.3, while expectations for the country's economic future increased by 1.3 points, reaching 49.1. On a household level, perceptions of the present economic situation improved by 0.8 points, attaining 52.1, while future expectations advanced by 0.5 points to 57.5.
