North Macedonia experienced a slowdown in its annual producer inflation, registering at 6.1% in April 2025, compared to 7% in March. This represents the lowest rate so far this year. The deceleration in price growth was noted across various categories: energy prices eased to 16.9% from 17.5%, capital goods decreased to 13.8% from 17.3%, consumer goods slowed to 3.9% from 4.2%, and non-durable goods moderated to 4.3% from 4.6%. In contrast, the costs for durable goods continued to decline, falling to -2.3% from -2.1%. Producer inflation for intermediate goods, excluding energy, remained steady at 2.1%. On a month-to-month basis, there was a 0.2% drop in producer prices, following a 0.4% increase in the previous month.
