From a year-on-year perspective, the index rose significantly by 10.3 points compared to May 2024, when it stood at -14.1%. On a quarterly comparison, consumer confidence saw a slight increase in the second quarter, with the index improving marginally from an average of -6.7% in Q1 to -6.5%.
