In the first five months of 2025, industrial production in Belarus experienced a 1% year-on-year increase. This marks a slight deceleration from the 1.4% growth observed in the January to April timeframe. The sectors leading this growth were mining and quarrying, with an increase of 2.9%, manufacturing, which rose by 0.8%, and the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and air conditioning, which climbed 1.9%. Conversely, the water supply, waste management, and remediation sector saw a modest decline of 0.2%.
