Poland Inflation Edges Higher in June

The inflation was primarily driven by significant price hikes in electricity, gas, and other fuels, which climbed by 12.8%, while food and non-alcoholic beverages saw a 4.9% increase. These upward pressures were somewhat mitigated by a notable 10.0% drop in the cost of fuels for personal transport equipment. On a month-to-month comparison, consumer prices edged up by 0.1% in June, recovering from May's 0.2% decrease.
