The labor force participation rate experienced a slight decline, moving to 64.4% from 64.6% in April, while the employment rate also dropped marginally to 59.4% from 59.5%. Analyzing by gender, the unemployment rate was 6.8% for men and 8.9% for women. Age-wise, the highest unemployment was recorded among individuals aged 14 to 24, reaching 25.2%, while those over 65 saw the lowest rate at 3.6%. Additionally, 21.6% of the workforce lacked social security coverage, and 9.3% were underemployed.
