In June 2025, Ireland's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained steady at 4%, showing no change from May. The total number of unemployed individuals decreased by 5,000 compared to the previous month, reaching 117,900 in June. Female unemployment saw a decline, falling to 56,600, whereas male unemployment experienced an increase, rising to 61,300 from the previous figures of 57,700 and 60,700 respectively. On a year-over-year basis, the unemployment rate dropped to 4% from 4.4% in June 2024. Among those aged 25–74, the unemployment rate maintained its stability at 3% for the second consecutive month in June 2025.
