Serbia Producer Inflation at 0.3% in June

In June 2025, Serbia experienced a 0.3% year-on-year increase in producer prices, signaling a recovery from the previous month's 0.2% decline. This upturn marks the first increase in producer prices since February 2025, effectively ending a four-month period of contraction. The softened decline in prices for mining and quarrying, which registered at -5.8% compared to May's -7.2%, and manufacturing, which showed -0.2% against the previous -0.8%, contributed to this change. Meanwhile, inflation held steady within the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, maintaining a rate of 1.1%, alongside the water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities sector, which remained high at 20.9%. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.3% in June, recovering from May's 0.4% decrease.
