Despite the month-to-month decrease, sales for the year-to-date remain 4.8% higher compared to the same period in 2024. Declines were noted across all categories: automobiles decreased by 5%, light commercial vehicles by 7.9%, trucks by 7%, and buses by 1%. Export activities also saw a reduction, dropping 1.7% compared to May, to 50,700 units. Production followed the downward trend, decreasing by 6.5% from the previous month to 200,800 vehicles, though it reflects a 7.8% increase in the year-to-date figures over June 2024. In contrast, employment within the sector saw an uptick, rising from 104,000 employees in June 2024 to over 108,900 in June 2025.
