In June 2025, Belarus experienced an increase in its annual inflation rate, reaching 7.3% year-on-year. This represents the highest inflation level since February 2023, surpassing the previous month's rate of 7.1%. The primary contributor to this inflation surge was the significant rise in food prices, which jumped by 10.5% compared to 9.6% in May. Meanwhile, inflation for non-food items saw a reduction, easing to 3.2% from 3.6%. Similarly, inflation in the services sector saw a slight decline, moving to 7.1% from 7.2%. On a monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.9%, up from a 0.7% rise in May.
