Lithuania's current account surplus decreased to EUR 132.52 million in May 2025, down from EUR 204.3 million in the same month the previous year. The goods account deficit saw a significant increase, widening to EUR 607.57 million from EUR 356.22 million in May 2024. Similarly, the primary income deficit grew substantially, reaching EUR 372.42 million compared to EUR 233.01 million previously. In contrast, the services account surplus improved, rising to EUR 998.63 million in May 2025 from EUR 765.41 million the year before. Additionally, the secondary income account turned positive with a surplus of EUR 125.81 million, recovering from a deficit of EUR 38.93 million.
