In the first half of 2025, Kyrgyzstan's GDP experienced a growth of 11.7% compared to the same period the previous year. This represents a slight deceleration from the 12.3% growth seen in January through May, yet remains significantly higher than the 8.1% growth observed during the same timeframe in 2024. This strong economic performance was primarily driven by a 10.0% expansion in the services sector, which made up 52.0% of the GDP. Key contributors to this sector included trade, which surged by 18.6%, transport (up by 8.1%), information and communication (increased by 6.4%), and hotel and restaurant activities, which saw an impressive rise of 49.2%. Simultaneously, goods production grew by 15.0%, contributing 31.5% to the overall economic output. This was bolstered by significant advances in manufacturing (9.8% increase), construction (42.5% surge), mining (10.8% rise), and agriculture (3.8% growth). Additionally, net taxes on products climbed by 11.4%, representing 16.5% of the GDP.
